My second practice photoshoot was done focusing more on angles, mise-en-scene and using the natural evening light contrary to the previous shoot I used an iPhone 14 Pro Max to take the photographs this time.
Venue: Honey Beach Club, Hotel Kingsbury
Models: Dinethrie, Dinithi, Devindi, Misheli, Dilendri, Ameesha (friends)
1. Two shot
I focused the camera on the two subjects, so that the background would be slightly blurred and thereby by highlighted the two characters in the frame. It is a candid shot and I didn't have to worry a lot about the lighting reflecting off the subjects or props this time.
2. High angle shots
3. Medium long shot
Although this shot was not taken from a high angle, similar to the previous shot, this also highlighted the vibrant background. But a lot of prominence was given to the subjects and their costumes as well. I realised that the evening light didn't cause me a lot of hassle when creating the photographs as well.
4. Medium shot
This photoshoot shows a clear improvement in my photography. I found handling natural light way easier than artificial lighting. I was more confident in the shots I took this time and felt like I had a better handle on the camera. This shoot also gave me a chance in experimenting with different camera type.
